Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 5, 2026
The short version: Walkout Song Pro is built local-first. There are no accounts and no logins. Your teams, rosters, photos, songs, and announcer intros live on your device. We don't run ads, embed third-party trackers, or sell data. The only thing that ever leaves your device is the short announcement text used to generate an AI voice clip — and even that is cached locally afterward.

By using the app, you agree to the practices described here.
1. Information We Handle
Everything you create in the app is stored on your device by default:
- Team & roster data — team names, sports, colors, logos, and player names, jersey numbers, and positions you enter.
- Photos — optional team logos and player photos you choose from your photo library are downscaled and saved locally on your device. They are never uploaded to us and are excluded from team sharing.
- Songs & audio — local audio files you import are copied into the app's storage; Apple Music selections are stored as catalog references. Trims, fades, and volume settings are saved locally.
- Announcer intros — generated and recorded voice intros are cached as audio files on your device.
- Settings — your preferences (appearance, defaults, toggles) are stored on-device.
This data is the single source of truth for the app and is held in a local database and file storage on your device.
2. What We Don't Collect
We designed the app to need as little as possible:
- No account. There's no sign-up, login, email, or password to use the app.
- No advertising. The app contains no ads and no advertising SDKs.
- No third-party analytics or tracking. We don't embed trackers or sell, rent, or share personal information.
- No location tracking. The app does not collect your location.
A randomly generated, per-install identifier (not tied to your Apple ID or any personal account) exists only to help with support requests. It resets if you reinstall the app.
3. AI Announcer & the Voice Service
When you generate a premium AI announcer intro, the app sends only the announcement text (for example, "Now batting… number 24… Marcus Rivera.") to a text-to-speech service in order to produce the audio. That request is routed through our secure proxy, which keeps service credentials off your device and is protected by Apple's App Attest.
The returned audio is cached on your device so that game-day playback requires no network connection. The free, on-device voice is generated entirely on your iPhone and sends nothing off-device.
We do not attach your name, contact details, or any account information to these requests, because the app has no account to attach.
4. Apple Music & Media
If you choose to use Apple Music, the app uses Apple's MusicKit framework under the permission you grant in iOS. This lets you search the catalog and play or download tracks. Your interaction with Apple Music is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy. The app never sees your Apple ID or Apple Music account credentials. You can decline or revoke Apple Music access at any time in iOS Settings.
5. iCloud Sync
iCloud sync is optional and off until you enable it. When enabled, your team data syncs across your own devices through your private iCloud account using Apple's CloudKit. This data goes to your private iCloud container — not to our servers — and is governed by Apple's privacy terms. We cannot read it.
6. Purchases & Credits
Purchases (the one-time Pro unlock and optional AI credit packs) are processed by Apple through the App Store using StoreKit. We never receive or store your payment details. Your purchase entitlement is validated with the App Store, and your AI credit balance is stored locally on your device. Restoring purchases re-validates your entitlement with Apple.
7. Support & Feedback
If you contact us through the in-app feedback option, your message is sent using your device's mail composer. To help us troubleshoot, that email may include your app version, build number, and the per-install identifier described above. You may also choose to attach a diagnostic log. You control whether to send the email, and what it contains, before it leaves your device.
8. Children's Privacy
Walkout Song Pro is intended to be set up and operated by coaches, parents, and other adults. While rosters may include the names and jersey numbers of youth athletes, this information is entered by the adult user, stored locally on that user's device, and is not collected by us or transmitted to our servers. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Adults are responsible for the roster information they enter and for sharing exported team files appropriately.
9. Your Control & Data Deletion
Because your data lives on your device, you stay in control of it:
- Delete All Data — the app includes a one-tap option to permanently erase all teams, players, songs, intros, and settings from your device.
- Delete the app — removing the app from your iPhone removes its local data.
- iCloud — if you enabled sync, you can manage or remove the app's data from your iCloud account in iOS Settings.
- Photos & Apple Music — you can revoke these permissions any time in iOS Settings.
10. Security
Any sensitive configuration values the app needs are stored in the iOS Keychain, marked device-only and excluded from iCloud Keychain and backups. Network requests use standard encrypted transport (HTTPS), and our voice proxy uses Apple's App Attest to verify requests come from a genuine instance of the app. No method of storage or transmission is ever 100% secure, but we keep the app's data footprint intentionally small.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we'll revise the "Last updated" date above. Material changes will be reflected in an app or website update. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
